Defeat Taken[edit]

Eris Morn has proposal to help you empower your rediscovered Whisper of the Worm. She charges you with defeating combatants with the weapon and harvesting Taken Essence.

- Defeat Taken combatants with Whisper of the Worm equipped and collect their Taken Essences.
You need a farming location to quickly deal with the Taken to collect their essence.
Alpheon's Rest Lost Sector is great
You can also just start The Shattered Throne

Destroy the Taken Blights[edit]

Eris Morn has proposal to help you empower your rediscovered Whisper of the Worm. She charges you with revisiting your investigation of the Taken anomaly beneath the surface of Io, and destroying the Blights you find there.

- Destroy the second set of Taken Blights in Exotic mission: the Whisper on Legend difficulty. Launch the mission from the "Into the Light" subscreen on your director.
Head into the the Whisper on Legend difficulty and you will need to make your way deeper into it.
Once you make your way into the large Green Room, the BIG jumping puzzle, you will see the first of the Blights in front of you.
This one is right in front of you, so aim and fire at it with the Whisper of the Worm.
After shooting that, look to the back of the room, where you can see the large circle in the wall.
Just inside there, you can see the second Blight.
Now, look up and to the left, where you will see the third and final Blight.
After shooting all three, you're clear to finish the Whisper on Legendary to claim the upgrade to the Whisper of the Worm

Complete The Whisper Legend[edit]

With the Blights dealt with, you need only complete your journey through the Taken anomaly to imbue your Whisper of the Worm with additional power.

- Complete the exotic mission "The Whisper" on Legend difficulty. Launch the mission from the subscreen on your Director.
Complete your run of The Whisper on Legend difficulty.
Remember, there are 3 rooms of combat and 4 bosses at the end of the Mission to kill.
